About

Brandon is a designer and visual artist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He graduated in 2012 with honors from Iowa State University and continues to design, write, and illustrate.

• Experience:


• Currently working as a designer at Cue, Inc. I am learning to make better things.



• Two internships, one at VSA Partners in 2011 and another with Cue in 2012. Both were invaluable experiences.



• A design research assistantship with Iowa State University's Design Research Information Group. It was a mind-opening observation of design's potential for helping people.



• Served one year as the president of the student AIGA Chapter at Iowa State University where I learned to do better at speaking in public.



• Work as an assistant art director, writer, or designer for various student publications at Iowa State. Worked through a lot of collaboration, conflict-management, and late nights.



• An honors project that involved folding lots and lots of paper and taught me how to avoid papercuts.
